Jessica and Dylan Brown were born on 8/8/2000. Jessica was born 2 minutes prior to Dylan by Cesaerian section. They were 36 weeks gestation. Both babies are in good health. Mommy is also doing very well and making a swift recovery after a difficult pregnancy. Older brothers, Tyrrin, 5, and Kaleb, 2, are excited about their new siblings. Brittany, Tyrrin’s twin sister, watches from heaven. All of Bill and Alix Brown’s children were born premature.
Dylan weighed over 4 pounds 8 ounces and was 19 1/2” long, and Jessica weighed over 5 pounds 6 ounces and was 18” long. Dylan has dark brown hair, and Jessica has blonde hair.
When the babies were born, there was no clothing small enough. Newborns in Need provided the family with the little hats you see the babies wearing and clothing for them.
Update: Jessica and Dylan are healthy happy children full of fun and energy. As the children of NIN grow up, we like to follow their progress and keep in touch, when possible.
