I am President of our local chapter of Newborns In Need in our town and I am so very thankful to know that you (Debbie) or such a wonderful
supporter of this great cause. I just finished your book Between Friends and it was great. Keep up the good work and I will continue to knit
and crochet for our babies. God bless you. Jan Ertzberger, Hartwell Georgia Chapter NIN

You can also sign up with author Debbie Macomber and send your donations to:

Knit 1, Bless2
Debbie Macomber
P. O. Box 1458
Port Orchard WA 98366

Debbie Macomber is trying to get 2,500 donations this year, versus 2,000 last year. Let's just blow these numbers out of the water, get double that. I am going to publish the link on my Facebook page and hope for the best.

Debbie, do you have a free pattern for the hat with roll up brim that is in Blossom Street Book? If so, would you please send it to me.

You do not know how much a group of us LOVE and read your books, We pass them around so everyone in our group can enjoy them.
Thanks for many hours of enjoyment - keep it up- and will buy your book out tomorrow. We have a group that meets once a month for
knitting and crochet, doing projects for ourselves, nursing homes, baby caps for nurseries and shut ins. We have a wonderful time.

I knitted the baby blanket, the yellow one, for a cousin of mine that had a baby girl the last of Jan/2011, in a rose pink, and it was just
beautiful- thanks for the pattern.

Thanks again for many hours of reading.

Im trying to start a drive for my Senior project and I thought that maybe taking up knitting as a side project would do more good for me than anything. I am excited to start knitting, and I hope that I can get a loom small enough to fit a baby's small head.

Hello, how nice to hear from you. I am excited to hear you have engaged high school students to help others. I am not sure where you are located but you might want to check our "find a chapter" page and choose a chapter in your state or one that is closest to you. When you finish your project, let us know as there may be new chapters who could use some items to get started. Please make hats that will fit full term babies, we have quite a few preemie hats at the moment. Love to see a group picture when you are done!

I am teaching students how to knit. We are going to make hats for babies to donate. However - I don't know where to send them. Could you give me an address? I presently have 8 High School girls signed up to learn how to knit! How exciting! We would like to send the finished baby hats to some charity that could use them.
