We are very happy to share with you some of our scheduling information. Convention will be held at “Citizens Memorial Hospital”, 1500 N. Oakland in Bolivar, MO. Our theme this year is “Angels Among Us”. On Thursday, May 3rd from 5-7 pm, you can register, set up chapter displays and visit with Jennifer who is a professional quilter. Jennifer will be available to show quilting techniques and she will also have some time to answer any questions that you may have. Please note that on Thursday, we must be out of the facility by 7:00pm. The hospital is strict in requesting that we leave the building by this time so please respect this request by leaving on Thursday by 7:00pm The hosting chapter (Madison Angels) will be providing a tri-fold display board for you to pin your items and/or photos to. Straight pins will be provided. On Friday, May 4th from 8:30am – 9:00am you can have more time to register and set up your displays. From 9:30am – 9:00pm we have many different classes scheduled, guest speakers and of course we’ll also have lunch. National President, TeLesa Lack, will be available for personal appointments if you would like to visit with her. Please email office@newbornsinneed.org to schedule a time. From 3:45pm – 4:45pm we have our Leadership Meeting scheduled. We have some free time before our dinner which is planned for 7:00pm. This dinner is a special time for us to visit and enjoy a great meal while dressed in our “Sunday best”. On Saturday, May 5th from 9:00am – 2:30pm we will have classes scheduled, guest speakers and the exchange of SWAPS. |
