The Newborns in Need 5th Annual Convention was held in Tucson, Arizona on April 15-16. The Southern Arizona Chapter hosted convention this year and invited everyone to join in on the fun!
There were right at 60 folks who attended this event including the National President, TeLesa Lack from Houston, Missouri. Convention is a wonderful time for NIN volunteers all across the nation to gather and share ideas as well as our mutual love for the babies that we serve.
The local chapter was full of hospitality and we all felt very welcomed. The scenery was breathtakingly beautiful with a mixture of desert habitat and monstrous mountains in the background.
There were many different classes offered in a variety of areas. We also heard from some very special guest speakers who showed their appreciation for the service that we provide. We closed convention by announcing next year’s convention dates followed by the trading of SWAPS.
