SWAPS, A GREAT WAY TO SAY GOODBYE--

What are SWAPS?  A SWAP is a small trinket that volunteers trade (or swap) at the closing of convention. It is absolutely a wonderful way to say goodbye.   A swap may be purchased or hand-made. Convention attendees can choose to participate but it is not a requirement! Here are some pictures of the SWAPS that were traded this year:

Special Gifts were presented to National President—

The Southern Arizona Chapter presented two very special gifts to National President, TeLesa Lack.  First, they gifted her with the cute stuffed lizard pictured to the left.  This was specially made by local volunteer Karen Oliver.  The chapter also announced that they felt their National President was an “angel” and the frosted plate glass angel was given to her which is pictured to the right. The photograph does not do this beautiful piece justice!
