This summer we had a booth at the Hudsonville Fair to make the community aware of our new chapter and find some new volunteers.
NIN Remembers 9/11
National headquarters asked chapters to commemorate the anniversary of the 9/11/01 tragedy by making a special delivery of
patriotic items. We delivered sleepers, blankets, buntings and hats to Hackley Community Care Center.
Holiday Delivery 2002
Holiday Delivery 2002-All of our volunteers were invited to come along to make the holiday delivery. We were treated to a tour of
the NICU to see the babies we are helping, and were able to meet some parents who expressed their appreciation for all we do.
This is one of the custom-made preemie dolls that we use for checking sizing of our garments. She is modeling a 4-5#
open-shoulder gown and hat that volunteers made for our holiday delivery to DeVos Children’s Hospital NICU.
