Stitch:

Choose 2 strips and place right sides together. Place long edge wrong side down  along drawn line and sew 1/4 " seam.- .  Open up 2 strips and iron flat. Place the next strip on the right edge of the ironed strip-right sides together. Sew, Open & Iron. Continue with the third strip on the right side. Repeat on the left side.

Square quilt by trimming, using right angles on board to mark.

Binding:

Sew short edges of binding strips together diagonally for a continuous strip.  Fold strip in half long way, wrong sides together, press. Place along one edge of quilt, stitch with 1/4 " seam. At corners, tuck , mitre, gather, or round the corners.

**Overlap the ends, trim excess leaving 1" overlap, fold under. Fold binding over raw edge, match fold of binding to just covering the binding seam. Press, Pin, stitch in the ditch or hand sew with whip stitch.

OR - bind sides and then top and bottom, using 4 strips of binding.
