Preemie Size charts
There are a few charts available on the internet indicating measurements of premature babies. The charts below attempt to reconcile the differences in the charts available. One primary source of information is the Journal of Ultrasound Medicine and the international measurement charts used by professionals for estimating the gestational age of babies via ultrasound. These charts were compared to and supplemented by others available on the internet.
Please keep in mind that while a great deal of research has been put into gathering this information, the numbers are representative of the information found. Babies vary in size due to many many factors.
