Meeting Notes from June 16, 2007

President Ruth Hoover welcomed all to our meeting with an opening prayer, and our new member, Cindy Kindt. Welcome home to Ervell Hoover!

Newborns in Need Founder, Carol Green reminds us to keep track of volunteer hours. This helps us maintain our 501©3 charitable status, and shows contributors that we have an active group. Remember that time at meetings, making items, purchasing supplies, and delivering donations are all part of volunteering for Newborns in Need. All these activities are important and necessary to get the job done. It’s helpful to write your hours daily on a calendar, then total them up to turn in at the meetings. If you are a volunteer who sends items but cannot attend meetings, we need your hours, too! Let us know whenever you need donation forms, and we’ll send them to you.

Thank you to Welcome Wagon for their donation of $613.00! Each year, they choose two charities to help. We will use this money to buy diapers and other supplies for the babies.
