Making the Airwaves:

Pilgrim Radio Channel 90.3 FM out of Carson City, Nevada interviewed our Chapter President, Ann Rollins, on July 15thPilgrim Radio broadcasts throughout Nevada, Montana and Wyoming. Ann’s broadcast about what the Casper Chapter of Newborns In Need does in our community ran throughout that weekend. The Casper Chapter of Newborns In Need is the only chapter in Wyoming, Nevada and Montana. “We are pleased to get the opportunity to share the news about the services we provide to those who may be interested now or in the future about Newborns In Need,” said Ann.

You Did It!!!

Eight Moses Baskets were delivered to the Fremont County Public Health Dept. on 8-23-07 along with eight receiving blankets, six swaddlers and six burial garments. The Fremont County Public Health Dept. provides service to individuals and families on the Wind River Indian Reservation and in the surrounding areas. They go through 5 to 8 baskets a year so we have provided a years worth of baskets to this worthy cause!!! The 6 swaddlers and 6 blankets went to their Happiest Baby on the Block program. The Fremont County Coroner’s Office receives the burial garments for their use.

You fine ladies ROCK! You delivered a complete project and fulfilled a need in ONE month with the Moses Baskets!!! How awesome you all are!! There was a need and you all delivered with love and joy! Thank you for continuing to always do your best and thank you also from Fremont County Public Health!

The Casper Chapter of Newborns in Need would like to welcome Cindy Repasky as our new Secretary.  Cindy has been a volunteer and now she has hit the ground running on the board. She is busy with very much needed support for the chapter to keep it running smoothly.  We would like to thank Cindy very much for her willingness to serve without hesitation and with a beautiful smile on her face.

Your help is very much appreciated Cindy!

UPCOMING FUNDRAISER:

The Antiques and Collectors Club has chosen the Casper Chapter of Newborns in Need as the recipient for a percentage of the admissions to Super Flea Market in November. All we need to do is man the admission table and take the money. We will be asking for volunteers at our October Meeting so check your calendars to see if you might have time available for this great fundraiser.
