Calling all Knitters & Crocheters

Ann has yarn for all your project needs! Yarns in sports weight, baby weight, bulky and worsted! A large amount of yarn in baby soft colors of blue and pink! They just need someone to take them and turn them into blankets, sweaters, hats, layette sets, burial gowns, socks or booties. Is there a pattern you have always wanted to try but haven’t found the time to buy that yarn you need? Well, please call Ann!! She will be more than happy to bring you what you need. All the little ones we serve will be grateful you did!!

Donate to Newborns in Need by Searching the Internet

Whenever you want to use a search engine go to wwwgoodsearch.com and choose Newborns In Need as the charity you want to support. You can also download a Good Search toolbar to help make the searching easier. Or you can do what I did and just bookmark www.goodsearch.com and click on it whenever you want to do a search. Newborns In Need will stay as your charity of choice unless you decide to change it. Every time you search the internet Newborns In Need earns a penny. Just 500 of us searching 4 times a day will raise about $7,300 a year without any of us spending a dime!

Mark your calendar for November 3rd & 4th for the Super Flea Market sponsored by the Antique and Collectors Club at the Industrial Building. We will need three volunteers at all times to collect admission fees. The Antique and Collectors Club is donating a percentage of the fees to our chapter of Newborns In Need! The times we will need volunteers are from 8:30 to 4:30 on Saturday and 9:30 to 4:00 on Sunday. There will be a sign up sheet at our next meeting.

Our Christmas In September Work Meeting went really well! Everything Ann set out was taken!! Give yourselves a hand ladies!! Because of your willingness, time and talent the newborns we care for will have a very special Christmas! God bless each of you!!
