From President Ann Marie
At our monthly NIN meeting, we learned that Lorinda Sutton of Hanover, OH lost her home in a fire. Lorinda became connected with our Chapter after the birth of her 1 lb. 14 oz. preemie, Abigail, who is now 3. Abigail has an older sister, 15 year old Angela. Lorinda's husband, Steve had a liver transplant four months ago. Lorinda runs her own business, Soft Furnishings. Some of us visited Lorinda's workroom in Hanover, where she makes quilts on a long arm-quilting machine. Lorinda has been donating quilts to our NIN chapter as a thank you for all the donations Abigail received. God has blessed our NIN chapter with so many loving and giving volunteers as Lorinda. I have reached out to Lorinda asking her how we can help them. I received the following email --
Ann Marie, In response to your kind offer of help, if anyone has any blanket sleepers, size 3T. Abigail does not keep her blankets on at night no matter what we do, so we keep her in the blanket sleepers year round. Unfortunately hers were lost in the fire, I haven't been able to find any anywhere. It just isn't the season. Also, your prayers are much needed. Our insurance is taking such good care of everything else. We are so fortunate that nobody was home at the time. Thank you so much for your concern. Lorinda Sutton
Members who go to garage sales be on the lookout for blanket sleepers, size 3T.
