Welcome New Member Tina Diederen joined our meeting and is anxious to see what she can do to help. She was immediately put to work, stitching the stuffed animals. Tina felt we have a lovely group and was glad she came. We, too, are glad she came!! |

We received the following “Thank You” To Whom It May Concern: My husband and I would like to thank your organization for the cute blanket that our son received. He was born 8/26/07 and had fluid in his lungs and had to spend 1-½ days in the ICN Unit. He is home with us and doing great. However, when they brought him to our room he was wrapped in a cute, fuzzy blanket. We commented on it & the nurse said it was ours to keep. How thoughtful that was for your organization to think so much of our little boy, we just had to say thank you! Please use this money to make another family as surprised as we were! Thanks again Jon, Jennifer & Jase Agin.” |

Kitchen Shower Lorinda Sutton, who was making approximately twelve quilts a month for our chapter, lost her home to a fire in April of this year. Finally, her family is in their new home. Recently, Ann Marie visited Lorinda and invited her to come to our November 14 meeting and bring her daughter, Abigail, who, at birth, weighed in at 1 lb. 4 oz. Happy, healthy Abigail will soon be 4 years old! Lorinda became aware of NIN when she received preemie items from us and has been ever grateful. The members were glad to hear that things are looking up for the Suttons’ and decided to hold a “kitchen shower” for them. Any member who wishes to participate is asked to bring one kitchen item to the November meeting. Ann Marie will place the items in a gift basket. |

Cookie Exchange Last year’s cookie exchange was such a delicious success that we are going to have one again this year during our December 12 meeting. Those who wish to participate are asked to bring one or two dozen cookies to swap. |
