From the Fundraising Committee:

This is just a reminder of the on going fundraisers for the Greater Oklahoma
 Chapter of Newborns In Need.

1) Recycle First - Send in your empty ink cartridges and old cell phones. Postage
paid envelopes available at the Chapter Office.

2) Magazine Fundraiser - When you buy, renew or extend your favorite magazine
subscriptions on our online store, 40% of each purchase goes back to our cause!
Over 650 magazine titles at up to 85% off the newsstand prices. Buy online 24
hours a day, 7 days a week. Just go to our online magazine store at
www.magfundraising.com/NINGreaterOklahoma

3) Best Choice Labels - If you use Best Choice brand for your everyday items we
would greatly appreciate if you can save the labels (UPC code) from these
products and send them to us. You can save them and send several at a time if
you would like. Our Chapter can save these labels and once we have 1,000
labels saved we can mail them in to the Best Choice company and they will send
us a check. If you go to this link you can put in your zip code and it will
tell you stores in your area that handle the Best Choice brand,
http://www.awgbrands.com/find_store.php.
Even though the Always Save brand is through the same company, we can not use
the Always Save brand labels, only the Best Choice labels.

4) Hershey Candy Bars- We will be purchasing Hershey Fundraising Assortment
from Sam's Club and will be selling these candy bars for $1 each. These will
be available at all of our chapter meetings and events. You may also get some
to sell to family and friends.

Just to update everyone on the quilt, the fundraising committee talked about this at the work meeting and have decided that it will be best to hold off on auctioning off the red, white and blue quilt until a later date. There are a few reasons that this was decided. 1) We were wanting to auction it off at the Monopoly tournament, but due to some complications we will not be able to do the tournament this year. 2) Since this is a red, white and blue quilt we thought that we might have a better chance of auctioning it if we waited until spring or early summer of next year.

We have been  having some problems with getting printed off invoices on what we have turned in to Recycle First. The reason was: We were with Greenfund then turned over to CORE recycling..If you still have any of the Old White Greenfund Envelopes, PLEASE Throw them away...I have ordered all new supplies. Amy has some of the ones for ReCycleFirst and we still have a few. So if you need any Postage paid envelopes for recyclefirst they are available at the New Chapter Office.
