It has been a great month! 

 

The Southwest Quilters group from the Southwest Church of Christ in Oklahoma City donated 4 huge bags of fabric to NIN in January.  These wonderful ladies have their own ongoing project of making quilts for the Capital Hill homeless shelter in OKC.  Then mid February they called me and they donated another bag of fabric and two bags of finished items, hats, booties, blankets, and diaper shirts.  Some were crocheted, knitted, and sewn.  All were greatly appreciated!

 

A week later we received a call of Donna Keesee of Moore.  I went by her house and picked up a large bag of yarn. 

 

How wonderful to have such generous people touch our lives.  Of course every month all you volunteers excel at displaying this same generosity.

 Hey everybody just had to let you know what a FUN and PRODUCTIVE work  meeting we had on Saturday. If you were there you know what I mean and if you weren't, then you just have to make sure you don't miss the next one on July 14.
 
 Everything was well organized, had great munchies and laughed a lot.  Lots of hats, diaper shirts, mother hankies and baby mitten kits were  produced. It was great to get back in the swing of things.
 
 Sure was great to meet Mary Fletcher and good to see Mary Spence  again. Carol brought Brenda Randell who is our newest member. These  gals are dynamos.
 
 Ken was great as always hauling our stuff in with his cart and making  a drink run to go with the great food.
 
 SO...good to have Lee Ann back with us.
 
 Amy did a great job of providing us with direction as to what needed  to be done.
 
 Charla arrived in time to work with the fund raising committee.
 
 Peggy we hope you are enjoying your vacation but....it was not the same without you. Hopefully you will join us next month.
 
 ANYWAY, you can see why you need to mark your calendar now for next  month....PLAN AHEAD... you don't want to miss it! If it was this good without you....imagine how great it will be WITH YOU!
