VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR!

Congratulations Lee Ann
On being Volunteer Of the Year. 
Thank You for everything you have done for the babies!!

Lee Ann signed up to be a Volunteer in August 2004 after reading about NIN on the internet. Lee Ann has always had a heart for babies and children. She worked in day care for 17 years and now volunteers in her church nursery once a month. Lee Ann has been married for 7 years to her husband, Ken. Lee Ann and her family are members of Eastpointe Community Church.

 

Lee Ann learned the basics of crochet in her 9th grade Home EC class and has always enjoyed making things for others. Lee Ann also enjoys knitting, sewing, scrapbooking and gardening. She also volunteers for Northwinds Afghan Project, where she crochets squares that are put together in afghans for AIDS patients.  She also enjoys designing her own crochet patterns.  Lee Ann has created a pattern for a diaper shirt, available on NIN National website.

 

Thank You Lee Ann for all of you help and dedication to Newborns In Need.  We wouldn't know what to do without you!!
