Text Box: In Autumn, remember this: When you put on a sweatshirt or jacket, remember all the diaper shirts that are needed to keep the tiny babies of Oklahoma warm. When you roll over to turn off your alarm clock, remember the coziness of your bed and smile when you Text Box: think of the babies that are wrapped in blankets made by NIN. When you see a healthy baby in Wal*Mart, smile knowing that a sick baby just might have the same chances someday because of the love and dedication of NIN volunteers. Text Box: When you are holiday shopping, smile knowing that our home office is making and donating over a thousand Christmas stockings to children who would not otherwise have a gift at Christmas. And when the notion strikes you, pick up your knitting needles or crochet hooks while you are watching the news. Text Box: Autumn in Oklahoma! Text Box: From the Secretary: Text Box: I would like to thank everyone who submitted an article for the newsletter. Last month’s newsletter was my first one and I’m glad everyone enjoyed it. I hope you find this one agreeable also. I do need to make two notices about errors in the Text Box: September newsletter. Gaia Edmiston wrote and submitted the “Volunteer of the Month” article for September 2004. Jennifer was misspelled in the “Contacts” section. Also: Please remember Text Box: that even if our meetings change, the deadline for submissions to the newsletter are still no later than the third of each month.
