Fundraising

Janet and a group of her co-workers go out to dinner every month to celebrate those who are having birthdays that month. The birthday people select a charity for everyone to contribute to if they wish.  In July Janet chose Newborns in Need and collected over $200 in gift cards!  Thank you to Janet and her co-workers.  If others belong to similar social groups, this might be an idea they could consider.

We are thinking about having another bake sale in the fall.  More details will come later.

SUPPLIES

Mary bought several pieces of flannel for use in blankets or quilts. Let her know if you would like her to buy a particular item.

MEETINGS

Mary found onesies at Dollar Tree for $1 and bought all the newborn size they had.  People also brought outfits found at garage sales.  At our July meeting, we put together 17 layettes and had outfits left over.  

At our next meeting we will plan to put together lots more layette sets. We would love to see you there.
