Thank You to our Wonderful NIN Volunteers

Karen Lee, Bereavement Services/RTS Coordinator for Banner Desert Medical Center sent a note saying “Thank you so much for all have done for us in the past.” Sister Karen Milligan of the Arizona Mesa Mission wrote: “I finally heard from those in the Sanders and Greasewood areas. They said the (newborn) kits were well received from several expectant mothers. They were thrilled with the quality of the contents. They also expressed gratitude for all the time and effort that people would put into something like this without even knowing who was going to get them.”

Diane Jenkins, LCSW for Phoenix Indian Medical Center, thanked us for our last donation and informed us that they were undergoing renovations.

This is a picture of the delivery to Maricopa Medical Center. The man has a little burn-victim grandson (now with pneumonia) – he was gracious enough to help unload the donation! We would like to thank ALL those who help do this–especially husbands!

National NIN News

Last month, we announced the following news:

Family Circle magazine would like to do an article on NIN and are needing photographs of NIN volunteers sewing Christmas stockings, stuffing stockings and participating in Christmas-related projects.  This should be easy for all of you! Get out your cameras and start recording your sewing groups, work meetings, Humanitarian groups, etc. Please scan them in email or just give to any board member. THANKS!
Thank-you to those that have taken the time to answer this request!
