Work Meetings Update.

The leaves are changing and I can’t believe that it is fall. How beautiful it is to go for a walk here in New Hampshire at this time of year. Soon it will be time to say good-bye to our friends who are only with us during the spring/summer/fall months. We have been very busy this summer, working on things for the babies.

Just a little bit about us.  We are the Southern New Hampshire chapter of Newborns in Need.  We host a monthly workshop on the fourth Wednesday of each month at the 1st Congregational Church in Kingston, NH.  The workshop runs from 9:00am to 12:00pm.

We have been very busy during the past few months since our last newsletter. We had another wonderful knit and crochet day and people came and learned a lot.  We made sheets in June.  We made Christmas stockings in July, with a new and improved pattern. We had a baby shower in September and everyone had lots of fun and were so generous.

There are so many things to do at a work group meeting.  There is sewing, cutting out patterns, knitting, crochet and fellowship.  There are so many things.  We have had some wonderful donations of fabric and yarn, but there is always room for more.  We can also use your old wedding gown!!  The material is so nice for the babies!

If you have a sewing machine please come and bring it.  If you don’t know how to use it there are people here to show you how and you will be well on your way to sewing beautiful things.

A great way to get to know people, have a snack and enjoy the time with others.

Please come join us!!
