PRESIDENTS MESSAGE:
Happy New Year to all of you. I had some good news from Gaylee. The National office called her and wanted all their flea market items. They will not be maintaining a booth anymore. She picked up the things. There were 1508 items. She will sort and slowly put them out. I am anxious to see what we took in during November and December. Toy called me this a.m. and they will be cleaning the church kitchen next Tuesday. So we are asking you all to bring your own sack lunch. We delivered to 18 locations, 716 items at a total of $2,923.34. A few of the deliveries were those not reported for October. We had 20 volunteers putting in 594 hours. You all did good. We took in $74.80 from the flea market booth for October. Hope it getting better. Looking forward to seeing all of you at our meeting. Jeanne

The next meeting is January 30, 2007. Please bring sewing machines, sergers, needles, pins, patterns, scissors, items that you made. A dish to share at noon. A neighbor or a friend. We meet at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, on hwy E, at 9:00 a.m.. to get there take hwy 63 north out of Houston, go past Empire gas propane place. Take the next street, which is hwy E turn left and it’s on the corner.
Hope everyone is getting along with the strange weather that we have been having.
