A Message From Tracy

Volume 2, Issue 8
August 2004

Hello Everyone,
I hope you are all enjoying the summer! I know I'm ready for cooler weather. It really motivates me to sit down and work on baby blankets and baby gowns! When the weather turns cooler, we can coordinate with Alicia Logan, our Walmart contact, about setting up an information table at the Colonial Heights Walmart so keep that thought in the back of your minds.

Thank you to everyone who helped make our yard sale a success. We did very well considering we got rained on pretty much most of the morning.
I have received several thank you notes from the agencies we donate to and they are all so appreciative of everything that we send to them.Thank you to all of you who show your continued love and support for our area babies who need us so badly. I am so thankful that God brought us all together.

I hope that you will be able to make it to our next work meeting where we will be learning how to appliqué taught by Mary Bridgeman, our work meeting coordinator. I'm really looking forward to that class! And of course we will need folks to tag and sort donations. I look forward to seeing you all in September!

Love,
Tracy
