Fundraising
Our “Pennies for Preemies” baby bottles sure are helping our fundraising! You donated over $150 in change last month! Isn’t it amazing how much we can accomplish when we all give just a little!! Keep up the good work! (Anyone wanting a baby bottle to collect your loose change, just let us know!)
We still need little quilts and blankets to fit Beanie Babies. We will sell them at the craft show in November, so keep this in mind when you are looking at your pile of scraps!
We hope to have a date for a Wal-mart bake sale by the meeting on Sunday
We are thinking about a Christmas Cookie bake sale at Wal-mart…any thoughts on this?

September Meeting
(Sept 26th at JoAnn’s, Avon…1:00 to 5:00)
Our plan is to finish up the Halloween bunnies and burp cloths, put them in treat bags, along with some Halloween Candy for the parents, and have one for every baby in St. Vincent’s on Halloween! Come ready to stuff, stitch, and tie! (We will need some machines in case we don’t have them all sewn.)
We are thinking that the October and November meetings should be dedicated to blankets, (we need about 70 more between now and December 12!) so we will have lots of kits cut to piece some simple, tied quilts. We will need as many machines as possible, but also lots of extra bodies to press, cut, and tie.
Once again, Jeanne from Quilts Plus is helping us out with fabric: she is the BEST!

Round Bobbin
Well, that is over with! It was quite a bit of preparation, but we did do very well in the donation department, and the visitors did get lots of our bunnies sewn. We met many new people who seemed truly interested in what we do, which is ALWAYS good. We were not allowed to sell anything, so we have lots of Barb’s great tote bags, if anyone would like to make a donation and take one home!!
