WHAT IS NEEDED?
We accept most anything that can be used by a preemie or full term newborn baby, EXCEPT cribs, car seats, swings, high chairs or anything else that's
large. Sorry, our storage space is limited. BUT, if you have one of those items to donate, call us first and we may be able to direct you to someone in need. If you're thinking of donating
something not on this list, just ask!
Things we need most:
- Sleepers, gowns and onesies (some preemie, more Newborn to 3 months)
Receiving blankets, quilts and afghans (size 36” x 36”)
Diaper bags, baby wipes, travel size lotions, shampoo & powder
Diapers (size preemie thru Size 3)
Fabrics (because of allergies, please avoid wool fabrics)
- Flannel (pastel colors or white or child prints)
- Fleece
- Poly/cotton blend
- Single knit
- Stretch terry
- Quilted fabrics
Notions:
- Serger or regular sewing thread
- Quilt batting (low loft)
- Polyfill
Yarns (soft as possible, white or pastel colors, no wool)
- Baby or Fingering
- Bernat “Softee Baby”
- Lion Brand “Baby Soft”
Monetary donations to Newborns in Need or gift cards to WalMart, Hancock Fabrics, Knit, A.C. Moore, or Michaels
Receipts available upon request.
