Our building gives us plenty of room for sewing, serging and quilting. There are always many activities to do. If you are
a seamstress, there are sewing machines and sergers ready for your use and a variety of fabrics and patterns. If you are not a seamstress, come help pack layettes, organize the baby clothing shelves, cut out
patterns for distribution, make deliveries or do office tasks such as making copies, computer entry or mailings.
If you would like to learn to sew, serge, knit or crochet just call us and we will ensure that someone is at the office
to help you learn this new skill. We have very simple items for beginners and more complex ones for those who want more of a challenge. If you would rather work at home, you may pick up fabric and patterns at the
office and return the finished items at your convenience.
Our office is staffed by volunteers and is open most days except Sunday but it is a good idea to phone before going to
the office (a schedule follows).
Monday – 9 am – 4 pm
Tuesday – 9 am – 11:30 am
Wednesday – 9 am – 4 pm
Thursday - 9 am – noon
Friday – 9 am – 4 pm
Saturday (Workday) – 9 am – 2 pm
