How You Can Help
The Southwestern Pennsylvania Chapter is in need of people who are willing to share some time sewing,
knitting or crocheting. We also need volunteers to deliver items, launder items, sort and pack donations, and help us to spread the word about Newborns In Need. If you would like to help, please email us at
swpa@newbornsinneed.org.
Work Meetings
Work meetings are held the third Tuesday of each month from 6-9 pm. The meetings are held at St.
Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church in East McKeesport, Pa. Work meetings are held to sew, knit and crochet items, prepare donations, and accept drop offs. We currently have kits available for people who
would like to take home items to sew.
Sandy and Simon
Sandy and Simon, her dog, are walking the Appalachian Trail for NIN!
The Appalachian Trail is 2,200 miles. Sandy and Simon will start their walk in March 2005. It will take them almost six months to complete their journey for NIN. Help us to meet our goal of a dollar a mile for Sandy and Simon’s walk! See more about Sandy and Simon at www.sandy42@geocities.com.
