Shower Them With Love
Congratulations, you are about to take part in a national effort to bring comfort and warmth to babies who are born into challenging environments. Because of your decision today, one or more babies will go home from the hospital with possibly the only new items they will receive. Being a Newborns in Need Shower Host is a great way to make a difference… one baby at a time.
Newborns in Need showers are fun social events. Invite friends and family and enjoy your time together! Hold a shower at work during lunch and engage your co-workers. Like to do things on a grand scale? Have a Valentine’s Day party and use this day of love to send hugs to babies in need. Instead of traditional birthday presents, engage your kids and collect diapers. Potluck dinners, skating parties, any group activity can be the basis for a successful baby shower. Ask them to bring a gift and $1.00. (This is to be used to offset any mailing costs if there is no chapter in your local community.)
HOW TO BE A NIN SHOWER HOST
Fill out the host registration form.

Decide where and when to hold your shower. Provide maps to your home or location.
- Decide your menu – potluck, snacks, or cake. IT IS UP TO YOU!
- Plan your time and activities. Spend time talking or playing games. It’s your shower.
